Welcome!
I study agriculture and climate resilience, with a focus on how diversified management practices shape plant-soil-microbe interactions and support farms’ ecological and economic well-being under water limitations. I earned my PhD in Agroecology from UC Berkeley and an MS in Agriculture, Food and Environment from Tufts University. My work has grown through interviews and participatory research with farmers on California’s Central Coast around dry farming as an agroecological transition, and I currently work with the CA Farm to School Evaluation Team and the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance.
